We went to the 150th Anniversary of the Armenian Evangelical Church, and I exhibited my paintings in Paris and in Marseilles."

 Artists use their art to portray their ideas, beliefs and thoughts, creatively expressing themselves through the use of visual representations designed to depict certain characteristics of our world. Art around the world is diversely crafted to represent certain artists’ perspectives or to express cultures and ways of life. Armenian artists like Lucy Janjigian use their art to creatively describe the history of Armenians, evident in her paintings that remember the Armenian Genocide and in her film called Uprooted.  In addition to Ms. Janjigian, many other artists work tirelessly to show Armenia’s beauty, its groundbreaking religious establishments and its resilient people.
